NIGHTS AROSE- THE GEM OF THE RED SPIRIT

Arose Du Mouchelle is the heiress to a sprawling sugar plantation. In her youth, an old Gypsy gave her a matriarchal heirloom. She spends years in exile, learning its secrets. The most mysterious is the ability to enter the Astral Plane.  She must act as a sentinel, forcing back its evil creatures.

An evil Priestess covets the Gem, taking hostage Arose’s family, and the people of a port town, as she attempts to force Arose into surrendering the powerful Spirit. Evading her henchmen Arose collides with a notorious pirate. Leery, he gains her trust after aiding in her escape. But, realizes she has been duped when he disappears with the Gem.
However, even if she recovers the Amulet she has a bigger decision to make — keep the Gem and doom those she loves or give it to the Priestess and let the world fall into a demonic wasteland.
